Hummel Little Goat Herder Figurine

This Hummel Little Goat Herder Figurine depicts a young boy with his mother goat boy and baby goat. It was first modeled in 1948 in one size only with an incised number of 200; a smaller size was issued in the 1950s with an incised number of 200/0. This handcrafted Hummel figurine comes direct from the world's only authorized producer of Hummel designs. Every piece is back-stamped by Goebel goat boy and carries the M.I. Hummel signature. M.I. Hummel products are the result of a successful partnership between W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik (German for porcelain factory) goat boy and the talented German artist, Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel. Her paintings of youthful innocence have been transformed by the master artists of the Goebel factory into three-dimensional works of art.
